Dr Joshua Hurwitz

Josh is a Medical Oncologist with extensive experience in diagnosing and managing various oncological conditions. He has a special interest in breast, genitourinary, and skin cancer and a passion for clinical trials and education.

Josh completed oncology training in South West Sydney Local Health District and St Vincent’s Hospital, Sydney. He undertook further specialization with a prestigious fellowship at the Garvan Institute of Medical Research and The Kinghorn Cancer Centre in Sydney, Australia, in breast and genitourinary cancer under the mentorship of Professor Elgene Lim and Professor Anthony Joshua. He was admitted as a fellow at the Royal Australian College of Physicians in 2023.

Josh’s guiding principles for oncological care come from an evidence-based approach that utilizes the latest trials, technology and innovations to provide comprehensive and compassionate care to every patient.

In what little time he does not spend working, researching, or podcasting, he enjoys spending time with his wife and young daughter and dabbling in musical and photography interests.
